2009 - Neuw Beginnings
Neuw Denim was founded by Richard Bell, Steve Little and Par Lundqvist in 2009. Named after Nieuwlandstraat, the street in Brussels where it all began, the brand disrupted a tired market with a range that repected denim heritage whilst embracing the future. As a fiercely independent brand, Neuw Denim rebeled against corporate greed with a bold product range, brand identity and actions such as the Ice stunt.
2009 saw the introduction of the legendary HELL and IGGY fits for Men, and the RAZOR, VINTAGE and MARILYN fits for Women. As they still do today, every pair of Neuw jeans paid tribute to the roots of denim tailoring and culture with the Repair Stitch, Fob Ring and Vintage Revision Dart.
